Carnegie has provided countless hours of good, wholesome fun for friends, family, and so many others since it's inception that to close it would be a travesty. I have personally seen how much water goes through there year round and although I'm not an expert, what possible damages could occur whether we ride there or not? The murky runoff is plenty clean by the time it hits any major waterways(If it even does). What about the muddy runoff from the rest of the hills that we didn't cause? Or are they saying I'm polluting the water by the rubber off my knobby tires? My bike doesn't leak gas or oil, what are they talking about? Something tells me it's about money, which is typical nowadays. As if we not getting pinched enough by all the "economic woes" as it is, now they (???) want to take away a place that means so much to us all? Our equipment, transportation, license fees, etc. provide a lot of revenue to this economy, locally and abroad. Perhaps whoever is behind all this should look at the broader picture in the proper prospective, not just through their own eyes as they see fit. Thank you for taking your time for reading this and for taking the time to care. Perhaps if more of us get involved we might get to keep something we truly love: Carnegie SVRA.

Right on They created the OHVR parks financed by the riders to prevent people from riding illegally. When they have taken all our legal riding areas away from us, what do you think we are going to do? Certainly not give the state any more of our green sticker money of which the Governor is "borrowing" 60 million (stealing?). I didn't mind paying an extra $35 (from $15 to $50 per bike), when I thought that it was going to expand and keep our riding areas open. Last time I heard this was a free county. Not if the tree huggers have anything to do with it. This fight is not over even if the appeals court overturns the judges order to shut down Carnegie. We are in this for the long term and we need to unite to overcome their sleazy, scumbag, lying tactics. My family will be devastated if Carnegie is shut down. It will take us an hour longer to go anywhere else, and it still isn't Carnegie. Our carbon footprint just doubled. I intend to vote the suckers out of office every chance I get.

I have to agree with you brother( In Law)Allen. Also this judge needs to realize that Carnegie has been bringing famillies and friends for decades. This judge and the government wants to take something else away from us and our kids. This Judge needs to direct his focus onto more serious matters in Alameda County like crime.. No crimes are being commited at Carnegie.
